Earlier I turned my laptop off and now it just won’t turn on at all. Both plugged in and not, when I press the power button nothing happens at all, it doesn’t light up or anything. However the side LED indicating it’s charging is on, white. I already tried fully powering it down by holding the button, and checking the connection of the input cable internally. Neither did anything. I’m desperate here nothing is responding to anything. All the other advice seems to assume the power button is lighting up but it isn’t.
Please try to disconnect battery, hold power button for couple seconds or wit up to 1 minute and then connect battery.
are you sure? how do i do this safely? or do you mean the ac power? i already did that like i said
ok bafflingly i just tried to reconnect the input cable again and this time it worked so. whatever.
