I love my framework 16, except for its tendency to run its fans at full bore when its plugged in and doing nothing. If I unplug it, it will immeditaly calm down. It also spins the fans up if I close the laptop and then shortly after plug it in. Even though it should be alseep, it appears to wake up and spin the fans up over about 30 seconds to full bore. If I open the laptop its clearly on (screen lit while closed). If I close the laptop, and leave it alone for a few minutes (5 - 10) and then plug it in, it will charge silently and will not spin fans.
Windows 11 25H2 - Balanced profile selected for both plugged in and on battery, although any combination of profiles has the same issue.
