Am having an issue today where my framework will not start and shuts down shortly after the power button is pressed. Any suggestions? Would like to get back to using it ASAP.
Specs:
Mainboard Ryzen 7640U
32 GB DDR5-5600 RAM
2 TB Samsung NVME SSD
Windows 11
What OS? Does it get to the boot loader?
if it’s windows check your BIOS secure boot settings
Is Windows 11, not sure if I can get to the bios settings before it shuts off, will have to see

no I can’t get into the bios before it shuts off. it may be a hardware issue but not sure how to diagnose it.
okay, what have you tried so far?
Well opening it up for starters, making sure the CPU/RAM/SSD is seated properly, making sure the battery is attached correctly, making sure that the system is not dusted out, all dust is cleaned up
It was working fine yesterday, not sure what happened there
Ok, so I air dusted the inside and re-seated the RAM. Also took out the battery connector, dusted it, and re-assembled. Looks like it is working now while plugged in.
For anyone else who sees this, here is a helpful link to help diagnose potential issues:
Tip for Framework: Ensure that we know that the laptop is powering off due to low battery (which might have been the issue in my case as well!), as opposed to just abruptly powering off without any notification.
