Did you get the shipment exception as well? Looks like it cleared customs after transport left, so as best I can tell, the device is still in Memphis, not Oakland like I thought. This is kind of comical, really.
I did have the shipment exception as well. FEDEX says it should be delivered today but it doesn’t appear to have left Oakland yet so I wouldn’t expect it until Monday at the earliest.

Shipping from a place that’s close enough to NYC that I could go get it if it gets hung-up in transit.

- Ordered: Oct 15, batch 15
- Preparing Batch: Nov 2
- CC charged: Nov 20
- Shipped: Nov 21
- Arrived: Nov 22 (Saturday delivery must be included, thanks Framework)
Does it matter that path these packages take? Memphis seems especially problematic and Oakland a runner up.
I ordered the SSD, Fan, case and PS when the CC shipped (in time for some Black Friday action).
The 2TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD jumped 27% ($133 to $169)! since a previous October order. No Black Friday love there. Otherwise prices were stable or slightly less.
All arrived except the case (Amazon.com: TGDGAMER Matx Case:High Airflow Micro ATX Case, Support MATX, Mini-ITX, Micro ATX Case Slim with USB3.0x1 I/O Port, Black with 80MM Fans : Electronics), no bling for me!
Turns out Red was a good choice for delivery roulette..

Not in my case. I think FedEx is delivering it to NYC using a man pushing a handtruck all the way from Budd lake! lol
So it’ll be Monday for me as estimated. Makes sense it took one day in the same state. But funnily is – I think it is someone in the Batch 14 thread that said – it took only 1 day of travel across the country; implying travel by air. So by the transitive property I’m imagining if it shipped to me/us from further away I’d be receiving it today too. lol. It’s okay, some parts arrives today some arrives tomorrow, most importantly the case. So assembly Monday works just fine.
EDIT: follow-up, I just learned to use FedEx’s own site for delivery status not the AfterShip site for the timeliest delivery status. As while AfterShip was still saying delivery Monday, FedEx already had it on the truck and handed it to my front-desk before AfterShip showed it was arriving early then delivered, which is does show now.

Yeah, I ditched the Aftership URL in favor of FedEx once I saw their tracking number. Dunno why Framework doesnt just do that but maybe its part of the manufacturing pipeline or something.
So we are both looking at pretty cardboard boxes and waiting for something to put it all in!

It looks like it will arrive soon. Ordered November 7. It shipped out after 7 days, but it has been stuck in Memphis for a week. On Friday the message changed, so I’m hoping that it shows up maybe early this week? I guess we’ll see soon enough.

Yes. Very. But as was detailed to me by support (summarized above) different SKUs have their own fulfillment queues as do different regions they ship out from that cover specific areas on the globe.
If you are not in contact with them with the thought you don’t want to bother them, just do it.
Yes, Framework Support is very busy. But I hear they get to everyone. They did get to all my back and forth e-mail correspondence regarding the delay to US customers that culminated in that post I shared above detailing what is affecting the deliveries in the USA.
what happened after that - those mesages look just like mine, except my machine is still listed in Memphis even several business days after release?
Any update from you? I have virtually identical messages, and it is now Monday the 24th and no new update - i.e. not showing it has left Memphis, despite being past the time I thought it normally would leave Memphis?
Mine left TN and showed up at my FedEx hub, and it’s supposed to be delivered today.
Mine just got delivered.
I called FedEx, since the status hasn’t changed since Friday. They said that it should ship out tonight and arrive here tomorrow. We’ll see.
UK - 128 model Desktop (in the UK) here; Just got charged, hopefully in the mail soon!
As another datapoint for the thread:
- Orded order on Nov 6.
- Got an email on Nov 21 to give me the option of foregoing the handle in order to have the desktop shipped now instead of mid jan.
- Got a “money taken” email Nov 25 (this morning 8am)
Slightly sad not to have a handle but we’ll see, maybe I’ll order a spare next year.
I was just charged for my 128 Desktop model order which I placed on Nov 9. Like other posters, the handle was out of stock. I love the idea of having the handle, so figured I’ll just order one in Jan when they are back in stock. We’ll see how long it takes to arrive, pretty pumped to get this thing!
