My FW13 amd (ubuntu 24)keyboard just stopped working out of the blue.
I was typing and suddenly the letter “h” was constantly appearing. All other keys stopped working.
I had to reboot the device and now the keyboard just stopped working completly. Not a single key works. Connector is fitted properly (and the issue just came out of nowhere).
Anyone got any ideas?
I would try fitting the connector again as well as running a live usb to check if the keyboard works. Otherwise, your only option is to contact Framework Support and ask for a replacement if you are in the warranty period or purchase a new one yourself.
Try also an external keyboard to see if everything else works.
That worked fine
Keyboards are a bit of effort to replace, so If you don’t get a freebee vi warranty you may like to but an new input panel the benefits being.
Very easy to replace,
spare touch pad and fingerprint reader, which you could sell here in the Market category.
Time to fiddle more with the old input panel tp see if you can get it to work
