Framework will not start up, light still turns on

Hi, everybody. I recently bought my DIY Framework 13 Intel Core Ultra Series 1 laptop. I set it up on Saturday, and everything was smooth sailing initially. However, at around 10:00 A.M. today, after taking it to school for the first time, the laptop took a long time to start up. The light immediately appeared, but it took several minutes to boot into Windows. A couple hours later, when turning it on again, I had the same issue, with the difference being that the laptop never fully turned on. The bottom of the laptop felt warm after leaving it with the power light on for a few minutes. I’ve tried to fully reset the main board to no avail; the lights alternate between red and blue instead of blinking red. I’ve also charged it for an extended period of time, which did not help. Has anyone else had the same issue? If so, could you help me?

What’s the actual pattern the lights blink, in order? That’s a diagnostic code.

The pattern is as follows:
Green

Green

Green

Green

Green

Green

Green

Green

Red

Green

Red

Green

Orange

Green

Green

Green

Blue

Green

Blue

Green

I believe this indicates a fan and RAM issue. I’m not exactly sure what fix would resolve that, however.

If it’s potentially a RAM issue, the first thing I’d try is removing and re-seating the RAM. If that doesn’t work, try with a single RAM stick (assuming you have two), one at a time, to see if it’s an issue with one of the sticks of RAM. Try in each slot to see if it’s a problem with one of the RAM slots.

This sounds like it is almost certainly a hardware issue. You will need to reach out to Framework Support from here.
