Framwork 13 amd ai 340 not displaying anything

Hello, I just got my first framework 13 and I’m having trouble getting it working. I purchased this ram and ssd: Kingston FURY SO-DIMM 16GB DDR5 5600MHz CL40 Impact / SSD disk ADATA LEGEND 860 1TB
On the side led i am getting 12xG 1xO 1xB 1xG 1xB 3xG 2xB. I’ve found this post, but couldn’t figure out the led meaning out of it.
Post code bits meaning

I’ve already tried reseting the mainboard with this tutorial because the framework one is with the rtc battery and I haven’t been able to find the guide withouth it: Reset forgotten BIOS password - #17 by sgilderd

Is there anything other I can try? I already messaged framework support, but because of the time shift I though I might try to post here before hearing from them.

Have you tried booting with 1 stick of ram in Slot 0 and removing the SSD?

I have already tried all combinations. Booting with ram in slot 1 with/without ssd, in slot 0 with/without ssd. And completely without ram and ssd. Nothing helped.

How long have you let it attempt to boot and did you plug in the charger?

About 20 minutes with the charger pluged in. The side LED shows it’s fully charged

Others have reported issues with the FURY memory and it likely relates to something with their sub timing with the CL40 memory.

The memory is the suspect at this point which is why there is no POST screen.

Computers can boot without a SSD but not without functioning ram they get along with. Not all DDR5 5600Mhz memory is created equal.

Suggest to start with memory Framework has tested (someone said there is a list somewhere) or try memory from Crucial.

Everyone wants a lower cas latency (CL) but this series of chip from AMD is very finicky and will just not boot if one thing is not to its liking. The speed difference between CL40 and CL42 is insignificant.

I have ordered some Framework says that’s compatible from Crucial. I’ll keep you posted. Thank you for your time.

For diagnosis help. The laptop cannot display anything on the screen until the ram is working.

For the amd mainboards, we don’t have led flashes bios code table to help us.

So, using i different ram manufacturer should fix your problem.

Example of others having problems with kingston fury ram OK Amd AI 300 series.

It was really the ram. With the Crucial one it works. Thanks
