FW12 Batch 1 Guild

Definitely. The initial plan was about a month delay for colors. I was more wondering how the distribution between black and gray was.

Just remembered there was the community survey

Extrapolated from that a tad more gray than black. Still not sure if they go black first, then gray, or mixed. And just about now I realize how silly we are in our speculations

Woo Sage faction!

I feel like it would be no harder to make a gray or a black model, since it’s just the value you’re changing and not the color. Much simpler.

Nothing wrong with a bit of harmless speculation, haha.

I imagine you are basing this on the total donation dollar amount? If so, unless I missed something, Framework pretty much explicitly said this wasn’t the case, and the number was lower than that. This is due to some people donating less than $250, so not getting into batch 0, some donating more than $250, but still only getting to convert one order to batch 0, and some people donating over $250, but for whatever reason, not using it to convert an order to batch 0.

Every batch thread is a copium thread now :frowning:

In my head I know that I might not have my Sage FW12 by the end of July. I don’t usually pre-order anything so far in advance, but I’m managing :upside_down_face:

I think batch 0 a least over 200, and judging by the batch 0 thread that shipping speed might be slow. I would guess batch 1 will see sign of shipping in mid-July.

Batch 1 Black/Gray got the “4 to 21 day” email 10 days ago, so those may ship next week or so; I don’t know about the fun colours though.

Your order is shipping soon.
Payment complete!

I’ve just been charged for my Batch 1 (Black).

Usually shipping from Taiwan to The Netherlands takes 5 working days, so hopefully next Friday.

I’ve also just been charged for Batch 1. Revolut initially refused the payment because it didn’t go through 3d security or whatever, but when I reentered the card details it went through.

I’ve also been charged for my batch 1 black/grey unit. Sometime next week, fingers crossed! (I’m in the US)

Exactly the same here. Automatic charge did not go through. Had to manually pay.

Chalk up another “payment complete”! Fourth Framework machine will soon be in my hands (I have a 11th-gen Intel 13, and an AMD 16 with the GPU; and I bought my wife a 13th gen 13 to replace a dead laptop a while back as well).

I received the email “Action Required: We are unable to process your order.” 3 hours ago. It seemed my credit card was declined. I tried to log in to the card (bank) company’s website. But my user was blocked. I suppose this Framework’s action blocked my user account. I called the bank’s support up, and unlocked my user. The bank’s support couldn’t find why my user was blocked on their website.

Then I clicked the “Complete Payment” link, and I successfully manually paid with the same credit card that was declined before.

Then I received the email “Payment complete!”

… Now might be a good time for a Framework team member to chime in, perhaps…

Unfortunately, this is just something that can happen when a company tries to auto-charge a credit card. I had a card that randomly started declining literally every purchase until I confirmed it. Then it suddenly stopped doing that.

Huh… I’ve never seen it happen with subscriptions, though… Interesting.
