I really hope the stylus will become available by the time it ships so I can get them together.

Exactly your build, but in sage. From what I’ve seen, batch 8 and 9 started shipping and batch 10 ships soon… so I’m hoping for a first week in october shipping
My wife needed a replacement for her Surface that died so obviously the FW12 was the right choice!
Bubblegum, i3, 16GB RAM (self-sourced) and 256GB storage (hopefully I’ll be able to reuse the M2 from the Surface, I already copied the data from it).
As a bonus the Surface stylus should also work with the Framework!

Same actually, also starting a new job and needed a laptop! I work mostly remote but will need to go in for the occasional meeting, so this is what mine’s for work-wise, (handwritten) note-taking, PowerPoint presentations and such.
I hope it serves your purposes nicely! I really wanted something small and adaptable for going between labwork, data analysis, and meetings that would be easy to repair.

It seems that batch 9 got their prep email 6 days ago, and batch 10 got theirs 3 days ago. So they seem to be sending these batches out fast. We could get ours in the next week.

now just gotta wait “4-21 days” for it to actually ship lol
now for me it’s a delivery battle between framework and ram+ssd … as framework may arrive before my ram+ssd (2 weeks lol). I would actually be sad if framework is first …. edit: i’ve got ssd+ram from somewhere else so i make sure they don’t come after the laptop :))
I just got the payment email!! Apparently they couldn’t auto-charge the remaining balance so I had to use the link provided in the email, but now it’s all done ^-^
To be fair I was expecting that issue, because Revolut (my primary bank) usually needs confirmation for anything >150€. I hope that won’t delay my shipment.

lol I feel that, I wouldn’t be able to bear having the laptop and not be able to use it because I’m missing components either. I had that when building my desktop PC, I got all the components.. except the CPU, which was delayed for a week. That was one terrible week.

I haven’t yet received the batch email. Are they doing them in sub-batches?
Hmm.. did you double-check your order details on the Orders page just to make sure you have the right email set? And ofc check spam.
Otherwise maybe wait another couple of days and then try writing to support.
For what it’s worth, I only placed my pre-order yesterday (September 16th) and I haven’t received the batch email yet. So, I wouldn’t sweat just yet

Yep, I got the order confirmation (almost) immediately after placing the preorder.
