I couldn’t find a post for the batch 3 guild so I thought I’d make one.
I’m curious if anyone from batch 3 has started receiving theirs yet? I’m trying to time my RAM and SSD purchase to be close to the time my laptop arrives, but I’m not really sure when to place the order, since ‘ships July’ is pretty vague.
I’m desperately hoping Framework will release a good display for this somewhat quickly, since 70% sRGB sucks.
Batch 0 colour models haven’t received their emails yet, Batch 1 black/grey are receiving deliveries.
Welcome to the site! I almost made a thread several times. Batch 3, Sage, i5, DIY. No emails yet. I think Batch 1 has gotten some, but only the black/grey units. I don’t think anyone has gotten any emails about any of the other colors, or from any other batches.
I’m getting lavender i5 DIY, though I kind of regret not choosing bubblegum.
What expansion cards are you getting? I keep changing mine because I can’t decide what colors I want 
I went with 4 USB-C in matching Sage. Most of the time I use USB-C, and I can have a full, matching set in the computer if I want. I also got a single USB-A that I’ll probably have in the machine most of the time, just for the convenience to be able to plug in USB-A devices without an adapter.
I do really like the translucent colors.
Batch 7 here, but, with a bubblegum chassis and lavender trackpad, I ended up switching between, in order:
I wonder how many batches of Grey/Black will be done before they do some colours… 2 by two maybe? (so 0 and 1 are being done / done now, maybe they do the colours in 0/1 next? or would it be more likely for them to smash out all the black/grey first…?)
I suppose it depends on how the production of the plastic parts goes. If they can produce them side-by-side on the line, they it’s probably just a matter of it taking longer to ramp up production of the colors. But if they have to switch the molds back and forth, I’d think they wouldn’t want to switch back and forth multiple times, so they’d probably make enough of the gray/black for all the batches, then start production of the colors, and the gray/black being sent out for future batches would be sent out according to production of other parts, but the chassis’ would already be ready and waiting.
Interestingly, batch 2 doesn’t exist anymore on the web page and every other batch until 7 just says “Ships July”
My assumption is that batches 2-7 will ship around the end of July, if batch 0-1 was anything to go off of. Many people are in batch 1 and still haven’t received an email yet. Batch 0 started shipping on the 27th of June I think, so I expect it to be even later in the month for the other batches.

Hoping they make the Framework stylus available soon.
Where is that schedule? I’ve been trying to find something like that on the Framework site several times but I can’t find it anywhere. 
Hit “pre order” for the fw12 and select a color, and processor option. It should drop down with the sechdule for the model and color chosen.
Soon now. Batch 2 have started getting their preparation emails.
Batch 1 got their E-Mail on June 17th and Batch 2 on July 15th. Assuming they do not speed up, it’ll take some time for Batch 3…
(Anxious Batch 6, grey, here. That frequency would mean early November for my E-Mail… Noooo!)
Batch 1 i3 Sage here; I got my Step 2 email on the 9th, and my Step 3 email this morning, and I’m hoping for Step 4 by tomorrow.
On the other hand, the first few batches may have the most people, so the last few might just merge together, if the batches themselves are based on when you order…
Howdy, fellow Batch 3 folks! Got a black i5 for myself with a pretty bog standard set of expansion cards:
Looking forward to the eventual email, hoping things ship before I leave on an upcoming vacation. I do see now that the stylus is meant to be available Q3, but does anyone know if we’re getting that free with our pre-orders? Fine if not, just wondering.
Also, again, just curious to know, but are the monochrome laptops really being processed separately from the colorful ones?
