Btach 6 started on 8/12, and 4-5-6 each haf 4 days between them, but as you said they were getting priority in order to keep batches on schedule for all to br out in Q3 2025. My estimates on the earliest possible day of arrival (for batch 8) is 9/4, so I’d say by that time batch 7 should have some units if not already arrived than going out…. Assuming that they are also keeping their average of 6-9 days between baches wich I’m not up to date on the blackouts in Taiwan or any other factors that could alter these estimates

I would rather wait than get one that will crack, but I totally empathize with people who are the other way around lol
At the very least I will wait to put all of my best stickers on mine until it’s gone through a few weeks worth of hinge cycles.

I’d like to start playing around with it asap, and if it crack, it cracks. I have trust in FW that in that case they would take care of it.

Batch 6 people are getting theirs, hopefully ours will be soon. They’re supposed to ship 4 batches (7-10) before the end of September, so they can’t wait too long, right?

I wouldn’t be surprised if we got emails around the beginning of Sept. They said they would get batch 6 out in August ( [Updated July 22] Q3 2025 Preorder Shipping Update ) so they might be focusing on that and they only ever promised batch 7 in Q3.

Given batch 9 is supposed to be done by the end of September, they’ve gotta be preparing for a fairly rapid rollout of 7-9, so hopefully you’re right

Sounds like groups 3-6 got emails around every 4 days per batch. So they could probably get all those out within the month if they overlaped the batches in the same way.
Man if 6 is done shipping that does make me hopeful they don’t need to wait until September

Just got my preparing to ship notification about an hour ago! Ordered my DIY Framework 12 mid-April with an i5-1334U in black, expansion cards (2x USB-C black, USB-A, HDMI, Ethernet), and bringing my own Crucial 48GB + WD BLACK 2TB SN770M.
I needed a mobile machine, mainly for basic browsing, SSH, VSCodium, and some light automation and config management testing in VMs.
I’m very excited to finally join the community after watching from the sidelines for a few years! Let’s go!

I’m tempted to add some more expansion cards to my Sage i3 order but I figured I should just wait and see if I like it or not. I can always order the extra expansion cards I want alongside the stylus whenever it is available.
This will be my note taking and travel companion running Fedora Workstation.

Just started my next semester at school today. I was hoping it would come before school started, so this is a pleasant surprise. Can’t wait to slap Linux on it so I don’t have to keep dual booting on my Windows laptop.
