Which Framework Laptop 13 model are you using? (AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series, AMD Ryzen™ 7040 Series, Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 1, 13th Gen Intel® Core™ , 12th Gen Intel® Core™, 11th Gen Intel® Core™) AMD Ryzen 7 7840U w/ Radeon 780M Graphics x 8
FW13 wakes from sleep just fine until plugged into external monitor in dual monitor mode. Then, it will only display active mouse cursor until power button is pressed briefly – at which time the login prompt will appear; once logged in, it will prompt for reboot/shutdown/etc. My FW16 does NOT exhibit this behavior. Both my external monitors are Samsung Model C27F396FHN. My FW16 is running on the same Linux Mint with Cinnamon version, but is using AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics × 8 and the GPU is discrete. The problem with the FW13 is not a fatal flaw, but is slightly annoying because it is an extra step since it is normally in dual monitor mode. It is slightly concerning because I have not found the cause, just the symptom – and therefore don’t know how to fix it or if it is indicating a deeper, undetected problem. Can anyone provide some help/guidance?
