FW13 Pro Batch 14 Guild

I have pre built and received a prep-mail

Do you have SSD or HDMI 3rd in your config?

HDMI 3 yes. But no ssd-expansion

I was trying to update the order and delete SSD but only this one is missing in edit mode. No idea why.

Been stalking this thread for a while and just wanted to throw in that I also have the prebuilt x7 config and have not received an email.

(With 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C)

My card just got charged

Mine aswell!

Mine was also charged! X7 no SSD/RAM. I sourced a 32gb stick from eBay. E0, so I will pair it with TE Connectivity 644p interposer I got from Mouser.

Mine is supposed to be charged, but for unspecified reason it failed, and when I tried again it says it’s being requested too frequently :frowning:

UPDATE: Turns out it’s because my bank had a maximal 2000EUR/day limit on its cards  so I had to remove the memory module from my setup on short notice. Hopefully this won’t cause any trouble beyond a month’s delay.

One optimal scenario earned from Batch 12 Guild: it takes 7 days from preparation notice to delivery at door. Let’s see if some Batch 14 folks can be as lucky as that.

This is horrible that you have to wait even longer. Do you at least get a final mail before they want to charge your card, so that I can also increase the limit on mine to not run into the same delay. Thanks for the warning for the rest of us!

Pitty that even support doesn’t know why my order is delayed… :sad_but_relieved_face:

I think it’s just the AI bot that responded to you that doesn’t have access to that information.

Anyone in North America get shipping confirmation notice yet?

Not yet

Looking at other batches timeline, hopefully today or tomorrow.

Still waiting in Europe too.

Next batch of prep emails will be sent some time on Thursday. It’s not about batch number anymore. Even some people from batch 17 are getting their devices shipped, so the only thing you can do now is to wait.

Oki so then what is the point to have batches? They should follow them if not they should explain how it works otherwise they make a lot of confusion.

Ugh. I’m in Batch 15 and part of the lucky 20% who hasn’t received my email yet. I was really hoping to have this laptop in hand next week, but it sure doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.

Hiya, I shared here previously, but I’ll copy over the reply in regards to batch splitting.

'Hey everyone, I wanted to provide some context on how batch shipping works and recent changes we’ve made.

In the past, we processed each batch strictly as a single unit. Because batches contain multiple hardware configurations, shipping had to wait until every configuration for that batch arrived at the warehouse. While sequential and easy to follow, it slowed down overall delivery times.

For recent batches, we shifted to shipping units as soon as their specific configurations hit the warehouse. Sometimes this means fulfilling available configurations from one batch and moving ahead to available units in the next. This has significantly sped up deliveries and gotten laptops to customers much faster.

We know this shift caused some confusion when people in the same batch received emails at different times, which is why I started including percentage markers in updates. I’m continuing to monitor your feedback and share it with the team so we can keep improving both our shipping speed and communication clarity.’
