Hi, no matter what I do the switches dont turn the mic or camera off. I feel incredibly ripped off by framework for lying about their hardware switches. These were supposed to be built into the actual hardware but I guess it must be software operated and lo and behold they don’t work. Very frustrated that I was sold a lie.
Harsh words here given that everyone else seems to be happy with their working hardware switches. Have you considered that it might not be a lie but simply a malfunctioning piece that Framework support would be more than happy to replace?
I’d strongly recommend contacting support and get this fixed.
You should also try realigning the bezel to ensure the switches are properly seated.
Very good advice here, but also if your switches aren’t working you should be going to Framework support first.
This is probably what happened. Blasting a company on the internet is easier than troubleshooting though.
I never thought to test mine, but they seem to work. I think they must have picked you specifically to lie to. lucky you
