I have a 7.1 surround sound system using an TX-NR609 Onkyo reciever. When I first plugged this in to my framework laptop via HDMI, the laptop would detect the device and allow me to select an output device as either stereo, 5.1 or 7.1 surround. However, the system would not make any sound.
I was able to get sound working following the advise from fivelaterals in this post. However, with this change I no longer see the surround options, and instead I see:
Any advise on how I can I get the surround sound working again?
