I recently lost my laptop in the LA fires, I just got my insurance money so I am looking for a new one. The problem is I need a new one ASAP(next monday at the latest). I’ve been eyeing framework for a while and this would be a great opprotunity to get one, but since they only ship I am worried I won’t get it in time.

There’s no guarantee that it’ll arrive by Monday. Orders ship within 5 business days and it takes a few business days to get from Taiwan to the US. Apart from that, Framework has an event on the 25th where they might announce new models.
But new models will most likely be done with a pre-order, so shipping is likely to take a month or two at least.
I wonder if you can buy one (of the current models) in person if you go to the 2nd Gen event on the 25th.
