My Framework 16 has been squeaking for a while now, but today I finally narrowed it down to the bezel, as removing it and putting it back on caused the squeaking to go away. Now I have to ask what the best way is to permanently fix the problem.
The bezel squeaks?
I’m looking at mine and can’t think how that could squeak, is it purely from opening the screen or from the little twisting you do during it?
Maybe it was something rubbing against the bezel? I know the bezel was the problem because it stopped squeaking when I removed it. I put it back on and it hasn’t squeaked since.
