I have a 1st gen Razer Core Chroma. Sometimes it refused to work with F16 to the point of me thinking it was faulty, but just today I found out the issue.
The dock only refuses to work when the included charger is connected. Once I remove the charger, connect the dock and connect charger again, everything is fine. I believe the laptop selecting which device to accept charge from is the issue and somehow messes up the initialization on the dock. I verified this with multiple combinations of ports and the issue happens about 95% of the time and is consistently solved by disconnecting charger. This issue occurs on both Windows 11, Ubuntu 22 and Fedor 39 which points to it being a lower level firmware problem.
Can anyone confirm if this is only an issue with my unit? Thanks
