Thank You Kyle… I did find the e-mail (back on November 28)… I just missed it. I had a little issues with VENMO, but all is good now.
I appreciate your work on this project.. I am looking forward to getting it and posting my results.

Figured I would post this here from the other thread..
8TB! Nice! That for the Steam library? ![]()
I have a 2tb boot drive and 2 8tb storage ssds. I’m a datahoarder. Need it for music, music videos, anime, shows, movies. Blu-rays and 4K Blu-rays especially take up a lot of space. I keep the compressed versions on my laptop and the uncompressed ones on my NAS.
Added my name to the list, I won’t have a way to use it until likely after Christmas, I don’t currently have a a oculink dock, or the dual m.2/expansion bay but will likely get the framework stuff for Christmas from the wifey and waiting for the EG02 to come back in stock ![]()
I have replied to everyone who has submitted to the list at this point, so if you didn’t see an email from me, please check your spam/trash folder.
Kyle
Reporting in! It works with my minisforum dock and 3060!
Hey folks. Please see the updates in the first post.
All adapters for folks in the US who have paid have now been shipped. Check your email for tracking details. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check your spam/trash.
For those of you in Europe who have filled out the list but have not paid, you still have a little time before I ship those out to folks who have paid.
The list is open again. Check the first post for an update.
If you filled out the form and haven’t paid by December 20, I will be moving on to other people on the list.
Thank you @Kyle_Tuck. I’ve received his oculink adapter and I’m waiting on a power supply for the DEG1. I hoping to get it by the weekend in order to test everything out.
For the guys that received Kyle’s adapter, did you put down a thermal pad for the oculink?
I did not, and I’ve run mine hard for hours straight under load and not experienced any issues.
I also didn’t use a thermal pad. No issues so far using the DEG1.
Reached out to nrp and sent one his way last week.
One of the folks in our SF office should be able to test it soon.

Very nice. Better come with all that FW cred ![]()
Got my adapter in. The adapter and plate fit perfectly. I wont be able to test GPU performance and reliability until after the first, but I will post results when I do. I will be using an RX 7900 xtx.
My .2 cents, will likely be fine. Should still provide connectivity. Won’t know real results until you can actually test it though.
On the plus side, got Kyle’s brilliant adapter all hooked in and, for the most part, it just works - plug it in and boot up and the card comes up fine! Using the ADT-Link F9G and a 7900 XTX:

So immediately it seems to be auto configuring for its max link speed which is awesome.
Edit: updated mesa and rebooted and holy cow, it does perform so much better than USB4. Seems rock solid too.
That’s awesome! So that’s at least one more config that seems to work.
