Laptop 13 AMD 340 black screen

I was preparing to install Arch Linux on my AMD 340 Framework laptop 13 and was attempting to disable secure boot, and in doing so, selected “discard changes”, exited without saving (intentionally) and rebooted with the memory stick in. I kept on hitting F12 to get to the boot menu and all I was presented with was a black screen.

Since this, I’ve not been able to get the laptop to boot. I’ve tried removing the RAM and booting, to see if that helps. It initially seemed like it was memory training, given the amount of time taken for it to boot up, but I left it for about 20 minutes, it got hot and I turned it off.

I’ve been rummaging around for advice on how to potentially reset the BIOS to factory state but can’t really find anything proper on how to do this.

I’ve reached out to framework support but in the interim, does anyone have any advice on such a matter?

Cheers
