Laptop 13 Intel Ultra 7 Windwos as Virtual Machine Wifi Driver

Which Linux distro are you using?
Fedora 42 Workstation

Hello, I’m trying to run Windows as a Virtual machine on a Linux Desktop.

Windows does not recognize a Wi-Fi adapter since the driver is missing. Due to other discussions on Ryzen Notebooks, I tried to download the Intel Proset Driver from the Intel page and took it on a USB. However, when I unzip the download and try to forward it in the installation process, Windows does not find any driver.

I would be very pleased to receive some help!

If you run windows in a virtual machine, it usually won’t need another WiFi driver. Your VM software should emulate some simple connected ethernet port which should connect to the internet through your Linux system.
