Laptop will not turn on anymore

    Issue is not OS Related and i cant remember what it is

    11th generation or 12th

Im in a lecture right now so i dont have much time. sry for the brevity

my laptop started to only boot with AC power connected. now a day later it wont start at all. there are no indicator lights on anywhere

If this is an 11th gen board, there’s a good chance that the RTC battery needs to be replaced. Support will send you one for free. Make sure to use that one or if you source one on your own, make sure that it is rechargeable. Also, follow the directions very carefully, as the RTC battery holder is extremely fragile.
