Mainboard + Cooler Master combo for current gen

Can the mainboard for the current gen be made available at the same time or soon after each new laptop, rather than needing to wait for the next gen laptop to release the previous gen as a mainboard?

Using the generic Cooler Master case and a portable screen this provides an alternative to the laptop form factor. I currently carry a laptop + keyboard + portable screen, but would prefer to carry a standalone mainboard + keyboard + portable screen. Decoupling from the laptop form factor could also enable other mainboard designs where there are eg. multiple CPU slots.

Latest-gen mainboards are made available shortly after the release of new generation laptops. It takes a week or two, less than a month, but they do appear shortly after. You don’t have to wait until the next generation.

Old gen mainboards go on sale to move them, and two-generation-behind mainboards get discounted even further.

Thanks yes I see the Core Ultra Series 1 and AMD 7040 mainboards. Are the Cooler Master kits compatible with all gens then? So can I buy the Cooler Master kit that is listed for the 13th Gen Intel Core, without a mainboard, and slot in a Core Ultra Series 1 mainboard?

There have been no changes to the dimensions of the mainboards, so the Cooler Master kits are compatible with all FW13 mainboards.
