Metallic noise when tilting the Framework Desktop

I already reached out to support and so far they don’t know where that could come from. So I’m hoping anyone of you here could maybe help me figure out where this is coming from.

That noise started immediately after I unpacked it, when I tilted it to lay it on its side.

I was at first thinking it’s coming from the hinges or screws of the SSD cooler plate, but those are screwed in pretty well. Or maybe from the CPU heatsink, but I didn’t find anything loose or moving around, the screws for the heatsink also seem to be screwed in very well.

For this video I already removed the CPU fan and the two side, the top and the front plate.

Don’t switch it on until you find the cause. It might be causing a short.

Maybe, to help diagnose the problem, try removing the psu. Thus narrowing it down to coming from the psu or elsewhere.
You might need to dismantle the whole thing if that does not narrow it down at all.

I think I just found the issue, it seems like the first row of the CPU heatsink is a bit loose and that is making that noise. When I hold that first few rows when tilting it, then the noise is gone.

So it clearly seems to come from the heatsink.

Does anyone else have that too, is that expected or would that create any issues?
