My take on the request for a combo ISO+ANSI+JIS layout, adding ABNT numpad

Here’s which QMK keycode I’d want each key to send
My preferred keycap legends
To be clear, I’m not insisting on this exact keymap but I think the layout with buttons in this arrangement could be a good way to implement all the different keyboard layout standards in a single hardware configuration. Just swap out keycaps and alter QMK configs to turn some keys into duplicates, where on a nonmobile keyboard they’d use a bigger keycap.

Officially, the keycaps are not removable. Since the tiny clips can break if one isn’t good at such things. So Framework wouldn’t be telling people to reagange keycaps.

Thoughts on my version of the layout, tho?

To be clear, when I say “swap out” the keycaps I don’t mean the end-user swapping keycaps out, I mean the factory where the keyboard is mass-produced just swapping what keycap sets to install for a given batch of keyboards being produced that day.

I imagine it might be good for some people, but I find it too busy personally. Particularly, having both the upper & lower case letters at the left side.

That is a fair criticism. I might modify the design to reduce visual-clutter, but the main thing I was looking for feedback on was the layout
