Hi Everyone, I’ve just got my new Framework 12 laptop, unfortunately i’m having issues with it crashing to a black screen after a few minutes of use, it took me several attempts to install Linux Fedora onto it because of it keep on crashing, once i managed to get Fedora on it i tried to do updates using terminal and through the updates option and both times it would crash too. So i tried to install windows instead to see if i could get anywhere with that. I have managed to get windows on there and do all the updates and driver installations that were required. i even managed to get bios to update sucessfully. i thought the problem was sorted as i was able to do a few things on it but then it started to crash again. i have done the windows memory diagnostic and it shows no issues and i also booted into memtest86 and after the 4 hours it took to test the ram i came up as being ok too. i have checked all the connections on the board an behind the screen and they all look ok. i’ve reseated the ram and the SSD multiple times and that seems ok too. i am at a loss to what is causing the issue. i have emailed customer support but still waiting for a response.
the Ram i have installed is a PSA 2 power 32gb 5600mhz CL40 Non-ecc module and ive used 2 different SSD’s in it one was a Saberent 256gb gen4 and the other a Phision 512gb gen 4
