I put my FW13 to hibernate (not sleep) and swapped in the new 2.8k touchscreen.
Setting the stage in case it matters:
[
Plugged everything up put it back together and powered it on. It lit up and displayed the bios/uefi based framework logo beautifully. Then windows booted up (I think) as I never saw anything about windows as all I was seeing was something akin to multicolored static. The static itself only changed like 5-6 time total 30-1min apart from each other not like the live instant changing static like tv’s of old…
Forced power off (power button held for 30sec-1min) and then power back on fixed this.

The problem now:
[
The backlight(s) in the bottom half of the screen at random time intervals both between the issue and for the duration of the issue flicker (also the touch screen did not initially function).
As part of troubleshooting this I updated my bios/uefi from 3.05 to 4.02 and installed the win11_v201_2026 drivers(1 of which fixed the touchscreen) but the flicker remains, though it seems a bit less dramatic now then before. Before updating the driver and bios I tried switching from 120hz to 60hz but that made it worse so I put it back where it started.

I also have a email ticket into support but this laptop is my daily driver and this issue is of a type that is painful to my eyes bordering on headache inducing so I am trying to find troubleshooting steps faster then I expect a reply from them.
