No power in right side modules and no light in power button

Hi all,
I have a small issue with my laptop 16 running windows 11 that happened recently with no apparent reason.
All the right side ports (a USBa powering a laptop stand with fans, an audio jack and a USBc, from top to bottom) are not working anymore and the light from the power button isn’t turning on either (the sensor still works though).
Anyone with the same issue?

This is likely a hardware issue so I would recommend you contact support. Before you do that though, you could try a mainboard reset and see if that restores functionality.

All your data is in your SSD, not the mainboard, so it should all be fine. If you have any BIOS modifications, those will not get transferred to your new mainboard so you will need to change those settings manually.

I’m not sure if you will need to do this, but if you have drive encryption enabled in Windows settings, make sure to have your BitLocker key on hand as it may request it after you swap mainboards. There are many guides online about how to get the key.
