Hmm, maybe just a settings or driver issue. Don’t use windows so can’t be of help myself.
But I can say that replacing the audio module is unlikely to help if it’s a problem with both the speakers and headphone jack. The audio module is named a bit misleadingly. It only contains the audio jack, a bunch of passive components, and the lid sensor. The actual audio codec chip is on the mainboard. Speaker connection is on the mainboard as well.
