I am setting up my new framework AMD laptop and have hit a problem. I don’t have a windows computer, so I made a bootable USB using terminal. However, now I am stuck at the part where it is requiring internet access to proceed. I have already used the registration code. I tried plugging in an ethernet adaptor but it does not register as having internet. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do now? I my license completely burned?
You need to use a local account.
To do so follow these steps:
- During the Windows 11 setup process, press Shift + F10 to open the Command Prompt.
- Type
oobe\\bypassnroand press Enter. - The system will restart, and you’ll be prompted to create a local user account.
You will need the Framework driver bundle as well to get full fuctionality on Windows.
