I think I might know what’s going on here:
Potentially, the RAM stick(s) used at the factory for DIY factory test is having a worn out contacts (because the RAM stick has been inserted and removed so many times). The contact is no longer smooth on RAM removal…and catching the pin ON THE WAY OUT. That’s why the boards are passing the tests…but failed at customers end.
This, IMO, is likely why the bent pins are appearing on the left side…a cluster scenario. (Consumer-grade RAM module suffering from tooling-level wear and tear)
