Screws on Laptop Loosening Over Time/Audible Creaks on Keyboard

Issue

After buying my Framework 13, over the period of a month, my keyboard became creaky. This means, whenever resting my finger on the key caps, pressing or depressing the keys, there would be an audible creak. On my machine, the key caps most prone to creaking were the J and I keys.

I decided to go look inside the input module and see if there was anything stuck. I disassembled my input module, eventually removing the membrane keyboard. I didn’t see anything obvious, so I put it back together. After I put it back together, the creaking went away temporarily. Now, a month later, I opened up the input module again and discovered that a lot of the keyboard screws were no longer as tight as possible. I tightened them again, and now the creaking has gone away.

Furthermore, I have noticed the screws on the bottom of my laptop are considerably more loose then they were whenever I closed up the laptop

Discussion

Does anyone know if this is a common problem on the Framework 13? I don’t wanna have to open up my input module to get the creaking to go away. And, to make myself more clear and not have someone misread anything, the creaking first developed without me touching the input module at all. I only went inside because of the creaking.

I don’t hear creaking, but I definitely get loosening screws causing a horrific noise when they shake with audio. I’ve had three keyboard replacements because of it, but they havn’t seemed to fixed the issue even with the gen 2 keyboard.

I find tightening all the screws every month or so keeps issues away, as I do the hinge at the same time it’s not much of an issue. Just shouldn’t happen in the first place.

Not had an issue with the bottom screws, but I tend to over tighten them to keep them from vibrating.
