(If rolling release, last date updated?)

Which kernel are you using? 6.17.0-20-generic

Which BIOS version are you using? 3.04

Which Framework Desktop model are you using? AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ 395

My fan is the Cooler Master - Mobius 120p ARGB fan.

Hey everyone, thanks for the warm welcome! I’m looking for info on how to light up and control the RGB for the fan in my new Framework Desktop. I already tried downloading OpenRGB but once I clicked on “Rescan Devices” nothing appeared on the UI.
Should I go into the BIOS and try to toggle something on there?
Any and all help would be much appreciated!

Suprised nobody has said anything, you should be using the framework_tool to set the RGB colors in the fan.

Thank you, friend! I eventually found my way. Actually I managed to make a little python wrapper around the binary to make the lights do pretty colors! It’s cute and extensible! GitHub - cofuente/fan-lights · GitHub
(And by “wrapper” I totally mean that the repo won’t work without you downloading the very same framework_tool binary at its root.)
