Just curious has anyone had any good results in changing the ARGB fan on the Framework desktop?
Such as being able to use third party software like ICUE or in generally more effects?
Or am I doomed until Framework update the drivers and support for ARGB on the MB
Currently running a script on boot with the framework_tools app configuring the fan.
Not very keen on the inbuilt windows integration as it’s just terrible.

I have had good success with some spare ARGB fans I bought just in case. The RGB configuration works with the Windows drivers and the framework_tool. You are not going to get the same RPMs and having the fan stop completely in idle but everything else pretty much just works.
Ah ok, so you don’t get any better customisation controls with the alternative fans?
I’m currently using the framework tool as well to get a rainbow colour effect via a script on boot but it’s still basic in terms of rotation or breathing and other cool adjustments etc.
I pretty much just used the script that’s on framework guidance but only really does the colours, unless you’re aware of some other bits?
