I recently installed Linux Mint onto my 250gb expansion card for a project so that i can always take the card with me and use it whenever, but now when i try to start up my laptop without it, i get a grub menu with not much to do on. I was hoping someone could help clear this up and guide me to making it when the laptop doesn’t have the expansion card, it will boot into windows like normal.
I was able to change the boot order now by putting in my expansion card and using the advanced settings that put me into the BIOS. From there I could change the order of boot options so now if I want to run Linux I have to tap f12 for the Ubuntu boot, which I the set to automatically boot in Linux mint. I will keep this post here if anyone else ever has this same issue.
