hi! I wanted to start my framework laptop 16 without SSD (as I installed it in other laptop). I thought it would take me straight into the BIOS but no, the power light goes on.
Also tried holding F2 while pressing the power button.
Any clue? Thanks!
Holding down F2 might not work.
If you keep tapping F2 repeatedly during boot up, it should eventually reach the BIOS.
When switching on, you might get some text appear in the top left of the display.
Pressing the F2 when that appears is enough to get into the BIOS, but that text is only displayed if a particular BIOS setting is set, so catch 22 there.

SOLVED. Was not the SSD the issue, was that I forgot to put the RAM
