Still Waiting on My Return label

order number: XXXXXXXXX

I’m still waiting on Support to approve my RMA & send the Return label.

I submitted my original request on 10/11 & still waiting - 10 DAYS for a lousy RMA to get approved & a label that takes less than 5 minutes to generate?

I submitted my request the same day that I ordered the Desktop Motherboard with 64GB but apparantly it was too late to cancel the order because it was already in process of shipping.

I tried calling the phone# that framework has posted on it website “Support” page, but it’s just a recorded message saying to submit an email. Great support :-1:

Also- if framework is located in SF, CA, why did my order ship from NJ?

I edited your post to remove your order number. You don’t want to post any personally identifying information as a safe practice. I’ll look into your ticket for you.

Edit: As for why it ships out of NJ… that’s where one of our warehouses are located. We have multiple warehouses all around the world. It may take me a little bit to look into your case as AWS is having trouble today and it’s affecting a large number of business servers.

Hello @vlad1966 It looks like you received your shipment and requested the label on Oct 16th. We cannot submit a return until the package is received. That is 1.5 business days so far and we’ve been experiencing delays due to wide spread AWS issues. You should be receiving your label shortly.

Eagle, I’m not sure what you mean by “We cannot submit a return until the package is received”. As you can see by the tracking# on my order, the package was already received. Please send the label ASAP, as tomorrow is my day off from work & I’d like to go to the carrier, preferably UPS, to return the package. Thanks

Still waiting on my label. This has taken way too long. I’m tired of these delay tactics. AWS is not an excuse. I just checked the UPS website, even tried creating a shipping label - no problem. If I don’t have the label today, I will have no choice but to dispute the charge with American Express. After this kind of support experience, I wouldn’t buy a paperclip from frame work.

The Amazon cloud AWS failure has taken a large chunk of the internet around the world down, along with it. Venmo, snapchat, reddit, all were knocked offline. Even Amazon’s own shopping site was effected. Should such things be so dependent on just one cloud provider? No, but it is so for many services. Hopefuly, it will re-enforce the need for redundancy, for some at least.

It’s only one day of your wait, but for today at least, it may be limited in what FW can do for you.

I’m seeing that your label was sent yesterday, within 3 business days from the time you asked. The AWS outage put us behind for about a day.

We don’t use UPS in the US. We use FedEx. You can find more information about which couriers are used on our website here.
