Hello everyone,
I have noticed strange behavior for months (if not longer) on the Framework Laptop 13 11th gen i5 running Fedora.
Basically, after the device goes to sleep (either through falling asleep naturally or closing the lid), after awhile, it often logs me out. Upon logging in, I am greeted with the following error:
The passcode I use to log in does not work to bypass this pop up and I am unable to do anything.
I am unable to do anything once this happens. Entering in my password does not work, the pop up remains. Interestingly, after rebooting, all my extensions are disabled and I have to reenable them. Another reboot basically solves the issue.
If instead I put the laptop to sleep (closing it) upon seeing the option in the screenshot, I am able to login again without seeing the prompt in the screenshot. Loading up Firefox works fine, but loading Proton VPN forced the dialogue option again. Closing and reopening again lets me open apps, including Proton VPN. This time, I get the error box but Proton VPN opens, but I am logged out for some reason.
What is going on?
