Struggling with removing right panel

I was talking to support about an issue and I needed to remove the right side panel, but I’m not able to get it removed based on the guide they sent me: Side Panels - Framework Guides

If I would apply more force, I might break something. And I don’t want to go that far if I might need to send it back.

Overall, the left panel also was a bit harder to remove already, but way easier.

Does anyone else of you have that issue and solved it? Or do you really need to remove something else other than the top and the front panel?

I felt the same but just gripped it from the top, applied pressure and kept pulling up with my fingers until it popped out. I felt like I was going to break it too but it eventually just slid up.

I had the same issue. I ended up using a thin, but relatively wide flat screwdriver tip inserted in between the silver bottom piece and the side panel. Gently rotating the screwdriver a little tiny bit at one end and then the other caused the panel to visibly lift a millimeter or so. That was all it needed: it popped off by hand after that. But be careful twisting the screwdriver or else you will dent the plastic. Maybe there is a plastic tool for doing things like that.

Nothing else you need to do, you just really need good grip on the panel - I had the issue myself, actually already struggled with the top panel at first - using a rubbery glove even the right panel came off at once without much force required.

Good call. A rubber glove is safer than a screwdriver tip!

I finally got it removed, I needed to put in on my lap and try a few times with my full hand, maybe my hands are just a bit too small.

But yeah, I wouldn’t recommend to use a screwdriver or so, I’ve got a few plastic tools from iFixIt, but even those I was a bit worried to use.

But rubber gloves sound like a good choice!
