Super glue the bezel?

Slightly broke my bezel in the bottom corner while trying to install it . Trying to super glue it back together now because the break is so small. Any other suggestions here?

Do you have any photos of how it broke? Not sure what ideas I can contribute without a good understanding of whats broken

Purchase a replacement bezel?

Yeah… Anything other than superglue! :grinning:
Most superglues are very brittle. So when used on anything that sees any flexing, it will just crack.

Super glue is a good quick fix. Rubber cement or even a small dab of silicone should adhere too; just hard to not get it too thick. Even a well placed piece of tape should hold it in place too. Maybe put a piece on it and trim with a razor or xacto blade.

Once the bezel is in place there should not be any flexing. The most stress it experiences is during installation and removal.

Could try a glue used to repair broken shoe soles. Will stay flexible while having a very strong bond.

Thanks all! Super glue bond was decent after setting in overnight. Tried installing the bezel again but same problem - it keeps catching on the lower left hand side. Things look decent when I pop the bezel in. But as soon as I start to fold the laptop, the lower left side catches:

Seems like something is pushing out that corner of the bezel but I keep looking and can’t tell what it is. I saw some people commented in this step of the setup that they had to move the webcam connector into place with the hinge. But that doesn’t seem to be the issue with mine.
