title… What would be involved in either making or having Framework sell one?
Finding one that fits and is compatible, getting a custom-made cable to work with its pinout, providing the proper EDID data for the screen, if i2c touch, then modifying the EC firmware to support it, probably missing something. USB touch would be easier.
As an individual? Probably nothing one can do to make them sell one. Start an online petition to try to show that there is enough market demand to support the cost? If there is enough demand.
Or just hope that a touchscreen is part of the 4/21 event.
