Looking at the guide here: Touchpad Replacement Guide - Framework Guides it sounds like you did reseat the touchpad cable, and that the other cables are for the fingerprint reader, the keyboard, and the keyboard backlight. It might be worth a try removing and reinstalling the existing touchpad. Best of luck!
