Quick question. Does anybody know if there is a relevant performance difference between Pop_OS! and Ubuntu in regards to CPU and GPU?

Background: I am considering changing to Ubuntu, but I’ve read here and there that Pop_OS! has significantly higher performance than Ubuntu for AMD (I don’t have any specific tasks in mind, just general performance). I’m not sure that’s true for Framework 16 though, since the officially supported OS from Framework is Ubuntu and not Pop_OS!.

Pop_OS is Ubuntu LTS based so similar drivers - wouldnt expect a noticeable difference in performance.

Fredrik from the future here. I ran Geekbench tests on the machine whilst on Pop_OS! and whilst on Ubuntu. Robert was right, there is no measurable difference in performance (at least in Geekbench).
