USB Earbuds not working on Windows (11th Gen Intel)

Hello,

I have a Framework 13 on Windows 11 23H2 with an i5-1135G7 processor. I am also updated to BIOS 3.19.

The issue I am having is with this set of USB-C earbuds - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CD7SRRFK

These earbuds work on my Pixel 8, Nintendo Switch, iPad Air 5, and even this same Framework laptop when I am using Pop!_OS 22.04.

However, when I use them in Windows, I do not get any audio output and just a popping sound that comes in about once every 1-2 seconds. This happens regardless of which port I use.

Below are two images. In the first one I have my audio output set to the headphones and nothing is coming out, but in the second one when I switch to the laptop speakers, the audio bar shows an output.


I do not have any updates pending for my drivers in Windows update. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue?
