Thinkpads have a whitelist for their batteries, Wi-Fi and WWAN cards. Will the framework laptops need to have one for compatibility and interference requirements?
We don’t use a whitelist for modules, but strongly urge that you only use batteries and wireless modules that have passed regulatory testing in your region.
@Kevin_Worley no whitelist, however some wireless card drivers require data structures in the system for best performance, otherwise they will default to “safe” values.
Eg some Wifi radio cards may default to a lower transmit power.
