Win11 installation does not see any of my 2 drives

As per title.

I have a drive running fedora. I got a new nvme 2230 Kingston 128 GB to install win11. I removed the Fedora drive and installed the new nvme.

I boot from a USB-A 8gb pen media drive to install win11. It boots fine, first screen I do not see my new drive. I have also installed both drives and still Win11 doesnt see any drive.

I can see both drives if I run diskpart (from windows installation with ALT+F10 command prompt) and from the bios. I am currently writing from the fedora drive.

Any clue? Do I really need drivers for the disks like 20 years ago. I baubt they even exist.

EDIT: adding screenshots from Fedora:

This sounds like a previous post: Western Digital SN850X not detected during Windows 11 install?

When I installed Win11 on my Framework I did not have this problem. I created the Win11 USB drive on another Windows machine, I don’t remember if I used Rufus or not but if I did I did not select any of the Rufus special options.

I got it eventually. I had to make a bootable drive from a win virtual machine using “create media “ tool!

The drive that I made from linux using the iso didn’t see the drives.
