Windows 11 22H2 Trackpad/touchpad Click

After upgrading to Windows 11 22H2, the trackpad click does not work.

In Windows Settings, Bluetooth & devices, Touchpad, under taps, uncheck the “Tap with a single finger to single-click” and also “Tap with two fingers to right-clcik”.

Under the previous Windows 11, I could click on the lower left for left click, and click the lower right for right click. these aren’t working.

Edit:

I have tried reinstalling the Framework Laptop Driver Bundle with no change.

Is anyone else seeing this on 22H2? I have submitted a support case.

Worked with the support team at Framework. Turns out the problem is related to the hardware itself. Despite the touchpad clicks looking and feeling good, to fix the problem I followed the procedure in the Touchpad Rubbing Fix Guide. I also followed a part of the Touchpad Replacement Guide to disconnect and reconnect the touchpad cable.

The touchpad is a little less forgiving about hitting the lower left corner just right than it was before.

I guess the touchpad failing with the upgrade to Windows 11 22H2 was just a coincidence.
