I am having the same issue on 12th gen AX210 under lUbuntu mate 22.04 kernel 5.15
I always have the worst connexion compared to other laptops around me .
For example a 2017 mac next to me will have connection at coworking but not me.
At the same spot it would have worked on my 2018 Thinkpad E590.
Now I am in Africa in Togo, connexion is VERY bad…BUT I am always the worst.
I am doing design sprints with 5 persons on 5 laptops during 2 days my computer almost never was usable at all.
Other laptop 10 years old HP that was offered to my african mates, works 70% of the time.
At my home in africa I have also a bed internet, BUT I can connecte on wifi with my fairphone 4 …And NOT on my framework laptop!
Framework laptop connexion on average / bad signal doesn t work for me. It is plain bad.

Update 3 days later :
After ading all the option in the config file mode prob thingy.
I can confirm its working much better. I am coming feom not beeing able to work at all…to being able to work like a normal African 
After that I moved to kernel 6.0 and I feel it might be adding even a little more to the stability.
I am wondering on the impact on battery power drawn…But up to know it doesn t seem that worse…
