Alternative solid cover instead of keyboard

I was wondering if it’s possible to have the Framework laptop without:

  • keyword + touchpad
  • monitor
  • battery

What I’m thinking is the lower part of the laptop like a thin tablet with all the nice ports and without a hinge or keyword.

this could be useful to have on the desk and should lower the price. could be a good machine for people working all the time with a laptop connected to a large monitor and a keyword and mouse. or as a home server. under the TV and it’ll allow other stuff to be put on top of it. could be even stacked to make a cluster of machines.

You can just buy the mainboard+expansion cards and get the 3D printed case.
