Sorry for the confusion! We will start shipping Batch 3 pre-orders from 9/9 for, but most of them will ship after 9/20 (which is outside of the 21 day ship window shared in the preparing your batch email) hope this makes sense!

Should I hold out hope that my laptop might still ship early, or was this email only sent to people whose laptops are expected to ship on the 20th or later?

I got the email and I ordered on day 1 of batch 3. I just barely missed batch 2

the delays are not based on the order date, as far as I know it’s based on SKUs (configurations). just confirmed that we sent this email to the entire batch, so it’s possible that your order might ship earlier (or later)

I assume you cant share this information as people might take it as confirmation of their shipping date; however i’m curious which SKU is behind on shipping?

I’m going to guess its the 7840U boards based on discussions in the other shipping threads.

I also want to mention, I appreciate the transparency about the order delays and whats delayed c:

I believe there are delays for both laptop models (Intel and AMD mainboards) at the moment.

My order got delivered today! Which is much earlier than expected, given that I received the clarification email yesterday. I can’t wait!

I just got charged as well, I had to do the payment manually tho.
DiY Ryzen 5 7640U with Intl Keyboard and no RAM and SSD.
Time to get the RAM sticks and SSD ready.

Like @vriska , I just got charged (12:15 CDT today on the email). Same DIY Ryzen 7 7840U, with no memory, storage, or OS, and US English keyboard. 7 Expansion Cards in tow.
